Naoko Sakata Trio are one of the hottest acts in the European jazz scen. Their seductive themes and vertiginous improvisations are like boiling chemestry and cosmic quantum physics!
To find a resonance with their music I went back in time and looked at cuneiform, rune script and cave drawings. From this I formed a crude logo that both felt modern, but still held the echoes of the past. An architectural logotype where the contrasts between sharp angles and living shapes creates a living vibrato.
